Standards & Ethics

Professional credibility begins with how we practice.

Ethical and responsible practice is fundamental to the credibility of public relations and communications.

EGPRA is committed to promoting professional standards that strengthen trust in practitioners, organizations, and the profession itself.

Our Commitment

EGPRA's bylaws require members to adhere to the Association's Code of Ethics.

The Code will establish the principles expected of EGPRA members and provide a common professional framework for responsible practice.

EGPRA's work in standards and ethics will develop to include professional guidance, resources and discussions around issues affecting contemporary communications practice.

EGPRA Code of Ethics

The EGPRA Code of Ethics is currently being finalized and will be published here following formal approval by the Founding Board.

Professional Standards

As EGPRA develops, this section will become a resource for members and the wider profession, including professional guidance, ethical resources and standards relating to emerging areas of communications practice.
